The Kelowna Apple Triathlon features a very spectator-friendly course in the heart of downtown Kelowna. Mutiple loops are used for the various races to cover the bike and run distances. While supporters are welcome to cheer on athletes all along the course (please remember the road closures), the heart of the action near transition and the Dolphins provides the best spectator experience.
Pre Race Briefing for Age Group Races
Sprint and Olympic distance age group racers are advised that the briefing on Saturday covers any rule changes and will explain other points in more detail so attendance at the briefing is STRONGLY recommended.
ITU and Triathlon Canada Rules
The controversial ITU rule requiring aero bars to be bridged for age group non-draft races, has been rescinded.
Racers: It is each racer's responsibility to be fully aware of the rules. Please review them here.
