Pushor Mitchell Apple Triathlon
Kelowna, British Columbia
The 2008 Kelowna Apple Triathlon was a huge success! Both participants and volunteers turned out in record numbers,
with around 1300 athletes competing and more than 1000 volunteers assisting to make all events on Saturday and Sunday run
smooth. The triathlon turned out to be the largest Canadian National Championships ever with the largest ever contingent of
Triathlon Canada officials ensuring fair play and flawless operations. Open water swim competitions as well as an aquathon
added to the weekend’s events and ensured that there was a race for everybody!
Thanks to all participants, volunteers and officials for being a critical part of this success.
Looking forward to seeing you back in Kelowna next year!
