Kelowna Apple Triathlon Attracts New Title Sponsor

Kelowna, BC - The Board of Directors of the Kelowna Apple Triathlon Society are excited to learn that the law firm Pushor Mitchell has signed on as it's Title Sponsor. It is a 3 year commitment with rights of renewal thereafter. The event will now be known as the "Pushor Mitchell Kelowna Apple Triathlon".

Society President Richard Montgomery commented that this event makes a significant economic impact to our community every year and having a Title Sponsor of this importance will give our community a chance to show off this event even more.  In the past several years the event has added a Novice Adult Race, Youth Races from ages 8 to 19, a Junior Elite Race (next years Olympic team members), as well as an Elite Race that attracts athletes from all over the world to compete for points towards their world ranking and Olympic qualifying.   These extra events have increased the need for more Volunteers and has placed greater financial obligations on the Organizing Committee, who are all volunteers themselves.  The addition of the Pushor Mitchell Team will help not only with finances but also with volunteers, as Pushor Mitchell has also taken on the commitment to have many of the lawyers and staff volunteer themselves.

Pushor Mitchell's Executive Director Terry Edwards stated that "Pushor Mitchell recognizes the importance of this event and we are pleased to have this opportunity to become the Title Sponsor.  We are always looking for ways to support our community and the healthy lifestyle focus of the Kelowna Apple Triathlon is a good fit for us both today and in the future."
